Kerry quote of the day.

John Kerry again showed his true colors when he was interviewed while waiting in traffic to view Ronald Reagans body at the Presidential Library in Simi Valley.

This moment in Simi Valley is a moment of truth, Kerry said. Not just for my campaign, but for the future of my party as well. For some of us, this may be our only chance to confirm the demise of the man who is solely responsible for turning the American people away from liberal philosophy. As Democrats, we need to put small differences aside and be certain that this man is truly gone. Next, we must reclaim our country from the church-goers, the middle America folks and the uneducated conservative masses.

Update: This is from the site http://www.kerrycore.com material is of a satirical nature. Although to me it does sound like something he would say.

I typed the phrase "solely responsible for turning the American people away from liberal philosophy" (without quotes) into google news, and only one site came up, and that wasn't anything to do with Kerry. You have a source on this quote? because I would love to see it.

this quote is a hoax based on a joke website:

nice job checking your facts. what other things on your blog can we not trust?

By your comments you must be a Kerry supporting liberal or someone who just enjoys being filled with the spirit of contention. If you noticed almost all real news stories and quotes I post have a link to the full article so you can take it upon yourself to form your own opinion.

Let's see. Someone points out the FACT that the Kerry quote that you presented isn't real, offers documentation for the claim, and your only response is that he must be a "liberaly Kerry supporter"?

I take it that you believe that lying is perfectly justifable if it's used to bash politicians who you don't like? Kerry never made the quote. The quote comes from a satirical article. That you attempt to justify the use of what amounts to a lie despite proof that your claim is false, to the point of insulting those who demonstrate that your claim is false, speaks highly of your personal lack of credibility and your total dishonesty.

I'm not a liberal and don't particularly enjoy the spirit of contention. What I really do enjoy is backing up everything I say, never talking out of my ass, and never trying to shift the focus to others when I'm caught making a fool of myself. You should try these things sometime.

In regards to your statement "personal lack of credibility and your total dishonesty" I figure I have 2 ways of aproaching this. I can further attack you personally on your views and method of response. Or I can take the high road and update my post to match the format of all my others. So as my friends and anyone who has ever served with me knows that I have a very high level of integrity and I am not afraid of admitting or correcting any errors I make. I have included a link the the site where I found the quote. I leave it up to anyone who reads it to form their own conclusions. As far as my personal attacks on your political and life views. I do apologize if I judged you incorrectly.

So you did post a link to the source of the comment. After the fact. After touting it as a "real" quote. And you still don't point out that it comes from a satire site, which will inevitably leads others to believe that Kerry really did make the statement even though he never said any such thing. That makes it all better.

Thank you for your suggestion I updated the post with the satire note.
